The Marshgate Group has secured another tenant for 33,000 q ft at Horizon 120, a major industrial development in Braintree, Essex

Horizon 120 is a 67-acre scheme which will comprise light industrial, R&D and office space.

It proposes up to 750,000 sq ft of workspace, aimed at high-tech engineering and manufacturing, as well as logistics and retail distribution companies. The plans also include an Enterprise Centre, which will be delivered by Braintree Council following a bid for £7m grant funding.

Essex X-Ray is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high voltage interconnects including cable assemblies and receptacles and a globally established manufacturer of high voltage engineering solutions; this company is active in over 40 countries. The business will relocate from premises in Dunmow, Essex upon completion of the unit in Q4 2021

Infrastructure works are underway and will be completed in March 2021 with bespoke units, ranging from 4,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft, available on a freehold or leasehold design and build basis, for occupation from late 2021.

Horizon 120 is located just off the A120 in Braintree, Essex between the regional growth centres of Chelmsford and Colchester.
