Our latest market update

We have entered the final quarter of 2016 with a number of exciting new instructions across all departments.

The commercial department has been asked to dispose of two warehouse/industrial units on Kestrel Park both of which are well presented and form part of the only complete industrial park within the Springwood Industrial area. We have also been asked to market two trade counter units in the area between Braintree Town Center and Freeport.

At Freeport Office Village we have recently sold building 13 and have agreed terms to let another building and sell two adjoining properties on the same development. Please contact us if you are looking for quality office space as building 2 is still available.

In the town centre the marketing momentum on the exciting new Tabor House development continues. We have agreed prices with the developer for the apartments in the second phase; these will be released towards the end of the month. We are also acting for developers in bringing forward a number of sites and commercial to residential building conversions in the town centre.  In addition to these new residential developments, we have recently brought the Old Fire Station to the market. This quirky structure extends to nearly 2,500 sqft and we believe the split level will attract either a restaurant or gym user. The building is centrally located on Swanside between Sainsburys and Bank Street.

Finally our residential lettings team are advising  both new and experienced 'buy to let' investors on the acquisition of new or converted residential units, particularly in the town centre. We have an unrivaled knowledge of the local market and our contact with developers enables us to anticipate the availability of new residential properties coming to the market in 2017.
