BRAINTREE AND BOCKING GARDEN FETE 20095th September 2009
Joscelyne Chase was again a sponsor of the annual Bocking fete on the 5th September 2009. The weather was fine and attendance was good. Joscelyne Chase had a series of old Ordnance Survey maps for sale, which proved very popular. Joscelyne Chase also re-ran their “guess the number of keys in the jar” competition. The Joscelyne Chase stall raised a total of £69 all of which was donated to local charity PARC. Joscelyne Chase also made a donation to the Bocking public gardens, a registered charity that relies heavily on donations.
Featured above is from left to right, Yvonne Crane (Residential Lettings), Gemma (representing PARC), John Chase (Director of Joscelyne Chase). The two people bending over were pondering over Ordnance survey maps for two –three hours and in the far right corner Albert Chase (86 years old).
The guess the number of keys competition was sponsored by Autoparts of Braintree, the winner being Mr David Grice who correctly guessed 186 keys and has been presented with a voucher for use in Autoparts store in Rayne Road Braintree.
If you would like to make a donation to the Braintree & Bocking Public Gardens or PARC please feel free to do so via the Joscelyne Chase office on Bank Street, Braintree.
